According to one of my sources we might have the Ribbon interface for SharePoint 2009!

Any word if SharePoint vNext will have better support/management features for External Blog Storage or Remote Blog Storage (a part of SQL2K8). I think it will help SharePoint scale to truly enterprise class.
What about using SQL 2008 Filestream, it should be an easy change, one of my co-workers did it by changing the Sharepoint tables to use Filestream
